What I'm Listening To (This Month)

I listen to music all. day. long.

From the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep, I usually have some music playing. I like to switch it up and my Pandora (yes, I still use Pandora...#loyal) is a weird variety of Disney tunes, Today's Hits, Classic County, and Church Hymns - along with everything from the 80s, smooth jazz, and classical symphonies. No joke - I listen to it all!

But there are always a few songs that really get me going recently. Thanks to a never-ending supply of new music in the world, my favorites change just about every month. Of course I have all-time favorites and the classic go-to tunes, but there is some really great new music that comes out all the time. And, I'm also establishing myself as very basic with these music choices - I know - super mainstream, but hey, you like what you like!

1. Mercy by Brett Young

If you haven't heard it, you're missing out. And if you listen to it and don't cry the first time, I might judge you a little. It's a classic break-up jam, which will always get to me. It's sad, hopeful, and boy oh boy can this man sing!

2. Finesse by Bruno Mars

How can you not totally jam when this song comes on!? It's the perfect "getting ready" song or drive-with-the-windows-down kind of song. Bruno Mars has some solid hits, but this might be my favorite so far!

3. The Middle by Maren Morris

A perfect blend of country and pop, this song is easily a fun one to sing along to. The beat is easy to get into, the words are catchy, and it's just a great song right now.

4. Holiday by Chris Young

This isn't necessarily a new song, but it's so great for my season in life. All about being head over heels in love, happy with the one you're with, and loving every moment with them. Perfect spring and summer tune.

5. One Number Away by Luke Combs

Another break-up, heartbreak song, and again, pretty hopeful. Luke Combs is new, and already, all of his songs and amazing covers are proving to be a hit after hit.

6. Meant to Be by Bebe Rexha ft. Florida Georgia Line

A perfect summer song. This song just gets to me. It's laid back, it's casual, and mega catchy. Even my toddler likes to sing along to this one! I'm pretty much hooked.

7. I Don't Think About You by Kelly Clarkson

In my opinion, she doesn't have a bad song. I'm obviously a sucker for sad break-up songs, but this has so much soul behind it - it's a clear winner for a sing-in-the-car concert (That i'm notorious for...)

8. Sorry Not Sorry by Demi Lovato

So this isn't a new song. Oh well. But I don't ever think I'll get tired of this total #girlboss jam. This is the kind of song that turns me into Beyonce in DreamGirls... But pretty much any Demi song gets me in a good mood.

9. Done for Me by Charlie Puth ft. Kehlani

Super catchy, fun beat, and the perfect sing-a-long song. I just discovered this song over the weekend and I am hooked! (Honestly, it sounds a lot like all of Puth's other singles, but it's still a solid tune!)

What songs are you loving right now?!
