#GirlBoss + Local Business Spotlight


Summertime. Sweet Friends. Cute Clothes. Great Beer. Plus, what's more fun than getting a whole bunch of incredible #bossbabe women together for a photoshoot?!

NOTHING!

The creativity was flowing, we were giggling like middle schoolers, and it was a blast getting to know some of the local entrepreneurs I haven't met yet... but am SO glad to know now.

This whole day was the brainchild of my friend Amanda, who owns Boutique 44 - a gorgeous online boutique with stylish and everyday options for everyone. The day was a beautiful collaboration of local businesses, fun, fashion, and of course, some drinks! She gathered up some local bloggers, makeup artists, photographers, businesses, and styled this whole shoot (and made it look easy!). I met Amanda through the Rising Tide Society but we didn't really get to know each other until we connected through Instagram, we met for coffee, and the rest is history! She's brilliant, fashionable, and just the sweetest.



Our #GlamSquad got right to work and made us look A M A Z I N G in no time! Really, I was so impressed with the talent of these ladies. Kate Wagner was our hair magician and Meaghan from Fleurt Beauty Company was an absolute makeup wizard! And it was so nice to chat with them while we got all dolled up. It was sort of like a Mom-Spa Day... at a local brewery!



I'm usually super awkward in front of a camera, so it was great to have a fellow Mom, friend, and yet another total boss babe to share the spotlight with. Ana, from Native or Not, is hilarious, fun, and one of the sweetest souls you'll ever meet. We laughed our way through the photoshoot and luckily didn't goof off too much and got some great photos!






We we incredibly lucky to have a gorgeous day at Ale Craft Brewery for these pictures. Eryn, the owner of Ale Craft Brewery (and who makes a cameo in some photos!) is an amazing local entrepreneur whose brewery and home-brew supply store is taking off! The beer is delicious, the atmosphere is casual and laid-back, and Eryn is super easy to chat with about their beer-brewing process.
