Black Pepper and Olive Oil Martini

Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail Shaker

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Castelvetrano Olives
  • 2 oz juice from olives
  • 2 pinches of black pepper
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 oz good Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 oz Chopin vodka
  • more olives for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a shaker, add olives, olive juice, and 1 pinch of black pepper. Muddle until pulverized.
  • Add ice, then pour over vodka.
  • Shake for 15 seconds or until the metal is frosted.
  • Strain into a martini glass.
  • Drizzle olive oil on top and sprinkle on last pinch of black pepper
  • Garnish with additional olives and sip away.

Notes

Chilling your martini glass for 30 minutes before crafting your cocktail will keep it colder for longer, prevent dilution, and reduce condensation.
