Servings 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 box white or Funfetti cake mix
  • Two 3.5 oz vanilla pudding cups
  • 8 oz whipped topping thawed
  • ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles measure with your heart... can there ever be too many sprinkles?

Instructions

  • Heat Treat the Cake Mix: Start by heat-treating your cake mix to make it safe for eating raw. You can do this by microwaving it in a heat-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the temperature reaches at least 140°F. You can also spread it on a baking sheet and bake it at 350°F for about 5 minutes.
  • Mix It Up: In a medium mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to combine the cooled cake mix and pudding cups until smooth. Add in your sprinkles—don’t hold back! They give the dip that signature “Dunkaroo” look.
  • Fold in the Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping with a spatula until everything is light, fluffy, and well combined. It should look like the happiest bowl of frosting you’ve ever seen.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Transfer to a serving bowl, top with even more sprinkles, and serve immediately—or chill for 30 minutes if you prefer it cool and firm.
