Equipment

  • 1 Trifle Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Jell-O pistachio pudding mix
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1 pound cake cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pistachios

Instructions

  • Make the pistachio pudding according to the package instructions. Let it sit in the fridge for a few minutes to set.
  • Arrange your pound cake cubes in the bottom of a trifle dish. You can use a clear glass bowl or any other large dish to hold all your ingredients. Then, pour about half of the pistachio pudding over the pound cake. Use a spatula to smooth it out evenly.
  • Add another layer of pound cake cubes to the pudding, followed by the remaining pudding. Then, add a layer of whipped topping on top of the pudding. Repeat these layers until you reach the top of the trifle dish.
  • Top the trifle with chopped pistachios once you've added all your layers. Not only does this add a bit of crunch, but it also adds a lovely pop of green color to your dessert.

Notes

You can refrigerate it for a few hours before serving to let all the flavors meld together or serve it immediately.
