The Simplest 3-Ingredient Bundt Cake

Every home baker needs a recipe in their repertoire that feels effortlessly elegant but requires almost no effort at all. This 3-ingredient bundt cake is just that.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix any flavor you love
  • 1 box instant pudding 3.75 oz, complementary flavor
  • 2 cups whole milk or 2% milk

Instructions
 

Prepare the oven. Preheat to 350°F.

    Mix.

    • Place the cake mix, pudding mix, and milk in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

    Prepare the pan.

    • Grease and lightly dust your bundt pan (or cake pan of choice) with flour to prevent sticking.

    Pour & level.

    • Pour the batter into your pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

    Bake.

    • Bundt pan: 40 minutes
    • 9x13 pan: 25 minutes
    • 8x8 pan: 30 minutes
    • Always check with a toothpick or knife—if it doesn’t come out clean, give it just a few more minutes.

    Cool.

    • Allow the cake to rest on a wire rack before carefully removing it from the pan.

    Notes

    After cooling on a wire rack, decorate with a simple glaze, a can of your favorite icing, or dust with powdered sugar.
